Abbeyleix Playground


Playground Name: “Sult na Mara”

Location: The playground is located in the grounds of Heritage House, Ballyroan Road, Abbeyleix.

Play Features:
 30mtr cable run, hammock swing, net climb, tunnel slide and extensive sand and water play area for younger children, basket swing, swings, roundabout, and a picnic area.

Location: The playground is located in The Village, Coolrain.

Play Features:
 30mtr cable run, net climb, tunnel slide and extensive sand and water play area for younger children, basket swing, swings, roundabout, and a picnic area.

Playground Name: “Tír Shúgartha”, Playground & Multi Use Games Area


Location: The playground is located at the Killeen Community Centre, Killeen.
Features: a multi play unit with slide, a 2 Bay Junior swing, log walk, wobble board, tunnel net, twin balance beam, and a pony seesaw. Cable way & Junior Play Area. Multi-Use Play Area, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball & Tennis. MUGA

Location: The playground is situated in the Páirc an Phobail, Timahoe Road, Portlaoise, County Laois.
Opening Hours: 8am – 9pm summer season and 8am – 6pm in winter.
Features: A Multi Swings Unit, A Sand Play Area, A Cable Runaway, Springers & Seesaw, Multislide and Climbing Unit,Whippee Springer, a bicycle stand, a water front, roundabout and a picnic area.
